So Morgan's hair is getting long and she has lots of little baby hair's, but it is really thin still. When I curl it for church it looks darling but by the end of church it just looks curled under. It's pretty strait and like I said it is pretty thin. I was getting my hair done and was talking to Nikki and she suggested a perm. I had already thought of that but thought she was to little. So I decided why not give it a try.
She had her hair in pig tails when we got there that's why it looks like that.
Here she is about half way. She was really good and didn't complain at all during this part of the perm!
The one thing she told me before we got there was " I don't want to wear the apron (cape) It's itchy! " So we didn't make her put it on. What ever it takes right!
She did not like this part. She keep saying it was "HOT" That was her way of saying it was stinging. We had to go buy a drink for a distraction.
She decided that she would try the cape and it wasn't bad after all. She didn't like getting her hair washed... but she did better than I thought she would.
She liked sitting under the dryer, and loved the princess book Nikki got for her to look at.
This was by far the worst part. When Nikki put the last solution on she freaked out!!! She was screaming and saying it hurt. I guess it was burning her neck. I think she had rubbed it to much and made it sore. Once the rollers were out and it got washed she was fine. For a minute there I was a little embarrassed she was yelling so loud! She keep saying "don't do that agian"
By this point she was happy again and was looking darling!
It turned out so stinkin cute. I love it! She picked out a new bow, and one of the ladies brought her a candy necklace. She looks so cute. Her hair looks so much thicker. Thanks Nikki you did a great job and we LOVE it!!
It was so fun spending the afternoon with Morgan. I think being the middle child is hard for her. I wish we could spend more time together without the boys. The whole way home she would touch her hair and say it tickles her hand. She is so cute. She feel asleep right before we got to the boys and crashed on grandma's couch for a while. I guess her big afternoon wore her out!

That little perm is so cute on her! She is a brave girl. I would have been freaked out for sure to get a perm that young :). I used to get perms all the time and I always remember that burning, stinky feeling.

I love her hair! What a good girl to stay still that long. Totally worth the wait.
What a little doll. The pictures really tell a story and will be a hoot when she is 16 years old and you show her. Aunt Judy
